The Jets AAA hockey program is one of the longest running spring and summer programs around today. The spring and summer concept started back in 1995 with the idea of taking top players to compete at various tournaments in the northeast that showcased their skills and talents. From there, the program took off and started competing at many of the high level tournaments at various birth years. Such tournaments as: Prospects, Montreal Meltdown, NAPS, OTTF Classic, as well as the Pee-wee Quebec International Tournament.
The Jets have competed against many of the Northeasts top tournaments for over 20 years and will continue to offer top players the same opportunity to showcase their skills and talents in the coming years. Throughout the years, many of the Jets Alumni have returned to coach and help guide the next wave of players throughout their hockey career.
The Jets will attend many of the top tournaments again for the 2016 season such as: Boston Shamrocks AAA, Beantown NAPS, Pre-draft Tournament, Mini Chowder Cup, Jr and Sr. Chowder Cup. All of these tournaments will draw in many top level teams from around North America and will give all the kids a very comptitive level of play. For the older kids, the tournaments will draw in many scouts from NCAA, ACHA, Jr. and prep schools that are looking for the right player to fill their roster.
